In a bid to tackle drugs in Worthing, Sussex Police made four arrest in the town on Thursday 4 January.
While on foot patrol the Worthing Prevention team spotted Karlie Everson, 31, of no fixed address but with links to Worthing, was seen to be acting suspiciously. She was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of class A drugs (cocaine and heroin). She was remanded in custody and appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (18 January) where she was given a 14 day prison sentenced and a fine of £115.
Two men, 30 and 42, were then separately arrested for suspicion with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine and heroin.) Both have been released under investigation.
Finally the team spotted Ella Rochford, 23, from Worthing, who was wanted in connection with theft from a shop on Wednesday (3 January). She was arrested and charged with theft from a shop and bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 23 January.
